Education Professions II prepares students for employment in education and related careers and prepares students for study in higher education. The program expands on knowledge and skills learned in Education Careers I
This course includes:
Students complete a portfolio project to document their experiences. Students completing this program continue their education in 2 and 4-year postsecondary programs to be eligible for a teaching license or begin a career as an instructional aide in a school.

Education Professions is a student intern teaching program. Students apply what they learn in real classrooms with real students. If you enjoy working with children and recognize talents of each individual child, this program may be for you.

The typical Education Professions student may have career goals that include elementary, secondary and special education, preschool education, instructional aides, counselors, social workers, therapists, and school administrators. Students will create and present lesson plans in the classrooms and must be comfortable working independently with students and teachers.
